Computational Intelligence and Bio-Identification Technologies Lab (CIBIT) is a part of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Department, School of Computing and Engineering, University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Mission:
Our current research focus is ocular and vascular biometrics, mobile security, anti-spoofing, and psychophysiological identification through ocular, posturographic image and signal analysis.
We also study related novel hardware platforms for computational imaging schemes as related to biometrics, in addition to human-computer interaction.
We do so through computational intelligence (supervised learning in general, dynamic/evolutionary/deep neural networks and image understanding in particular) and real-time, data-driven pattern recognition.
Our research projects have also addressed other biomedical signal and image processing issues (cortical, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal signal analysis and system identification).
