MDM is a
research forum on data management issues in the evolving world of
wireless, and pervasive computing.
the MDM tradition, MDM 2010 workshops will
provide participants with opportunities to discuss and explore emerging areas of mobile data management with
fellow students, researchers, and practitioners. Workshops may concern any topic within the
scope of MDM. The goals of the workshops are
to establish a common understanding of a certain aspect, to share
experiences, foster research communities, learn from each
open problems and/or
explore directions for future research.

May 23rd, 2010 or Wednesday, May 26th, 2010. Arrangements for the publication of accepted workshop
papers are currently under way.
proposals should be no longer than 5 pages and should include : (1) workshop title (2) a summary of no more than 250 words describing the theme(s) of the workshop, (3) a more detailed description of the
workshop activities, specific goals and plan, and explanations of why the
workshop is a good match with MDM 2010, (4) the background of the organizer(s), and (5) the expected number of participants and the means of
soliciting participation. Acceptance of workshop proposals will be determined by the MDM 2010
